Sales Manager Iberia (m/f/d) 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to build and drive the overall Iberia business, maintaining Birkenstock as a leader brand in the lifestyle and footwear industry
  • Manage, mentor and continue to develop the Iberia sales team of 5 colleagues
  • Develop an Iberia go-to-market-plan for the wholesale business and identify new opportunities to all Birkenstock categories and key concepts, beyond sandals
  • Ensure strategic partner management, drive innovation and alignment of marketing proposals to optimize the presentation of products and maximize sell-in 
  • Evaluate and report activity to include profitability assessment, new business development, sales analysis, market trends, objectives achieved and action plans for the month and quarter ahead
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, be part of cross EU projects to leverage business development potentials and effectiveness of achieving the company’s objectives

 

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing accounts and a sales team, ideally in the shoe or fashion / lifestyle industry
  • Be an ambassador for our brand and build loyalty that drives recommendation of our products
  • Strong track-record of people management, leveraging coaching and development skills to grow teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth across wholesale, extensive knowledge of sales KPI’s, combined with exceptional analytical skills, a solutions-oriented focus and strategic thinking 
  • Strong communicator, open to build great customer relationships and expand network
  • Excellent understanding of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), SAP knowledge is beneficial
  • High willingness to travel, mainly within the Iberia region
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, basic knowledge in Portuguese is a plus
