Senior Manager Digital Activation Europe (m/f/d)

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In this role you will own, drive, and continuously elevate key consumer and retail moments for BIRKENSTOCK consumers in Digital for Europe. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of consumer engagement drivers, a pulse on what is trending, a passion for creating exceptional experiences, and outstanding x-functional stakeholder management skills.  You will act as a hub across Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) functions bringing together teams across the organization to deliver truly impactful experiences for our consumers and members during key moments.  
  • Identify and maintain a seasonal calendar of critical consume  moments including leading quarterly senior leadership conversations to receive x-functional buy in for the calendar (e.g., EOSS, Valentine's Day, Father’s Day, Back-to-school).
  • Define the level of investment and the right approach for each Consumer Moment in the seasonal calendar.
  • Own the coordination of the creation, communication, and execution of go to market for these key moments across DTC (e.g., Digital Marketing, Digital Product, Campaigns, Organic Social) incl. enhanced omnichannel approach.
  • Deliver campaign toolkits for consumer moments activation.
  • Analyse and report on activation performance to drive data-based decision making in pre-seasonal and in-season planning.
  • Manage and own the centralized understanding of best practice, key learnings, and recommendations for future moments.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of our member base, overall consumer expectations, emerging trends, marketplace dynamics, and available levers to inform Go to Market strategy for each moment.
  • Act as a passionate champion of creating exceptional consumer and member experiences across the whole of the organization.

 
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: 

  • Minimum 5 years of digital experience ideally in digital marketing, brand activation, consumer experience, consumer insights, marketing, merchandising or strategy.
  • Consumer centric mindset: passionate about exceptional consumer experience as shown by staying up to date with the latest best practices and trends.
  • Previous experience designing, monitoring, and improving key moments experiences specifically in Retail + Consumer moments through the lens of Membership/Loyalty and Omnichannel.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Analytically minded acting as a data-driven decision maker.
  • Clear written and oral communication incl. presentations to senior leaders.
