For our Global Sourcing and Purchasing department at our location in Cologne, we are looking for a

Sourcing Manager – Finished Goods (m/w/d)

YOUR TASKS:

• You are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the sourcing and procurement functions within our Footwear Finished Goods division.
• You also ensure a robust and efficient supply chain for our various product categories in terms of growth and demand, as well as implement global procurement strategies while maintaining critical supplier relationships.
• While possessing a great understanding of the product and production, you actively collaborate with the product development, product engineering, quality management and global demand teams to reach a sustainable business growth.
• You negotiate prices to stay with budget guidelines according with financial controlling.
• Last but not least, you align with the purchasing team to ensure capacity and order fulfillment are synchronized with all business partners.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Successfully completed degree (e.g., in economics) or completed commercial vocational training.
• 5 years of experience in sourcing and sourcing processes, preferably in the footwear industry, with knowledge of shoes supply chain and production.
• Proficient in analyzing business models, predicting, and preparing for growth.
• Business fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
• Confident handling of MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Confident team player with strong communication and negotiation skills
• Well-organized with a focus on maintaining structured work processes.
• Willingness to travel
