Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) Contract Manufacturing

YOUR SHOES TO FILL:

• Develop and implement capacity strategies for multiple European regions.

• Proactively address challenges in the supply chain, mitigating risks and resolving issues efficiently.

• Act as the key liaison between internal teams (development and production) and external manufacturing partners.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, representing Birkenstock's interests effectively.

• Stabilize supply relationships and streamline supply chain workflows to meet timelines.

• Monitor and ensure process efficiency from production to delivery.

• Anticipate impacts on the supply chain, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and with minimal disruption.

YOUR WALK OF LIFE:

• 5+ years of experience in footwear manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of shoe manufacturing processes and supply chain intricacies.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (related fields advantageous).

• Proficiency in English communication.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Knowledge of SAP is highly beneficial.

• Reliable, structured, and cooperative team player.

• Strong sense of efficiency, capable of meeting process deadlines and goals.
