For our division Accounting, at our location in Cologne, we are looking for a

SAP Key User Accounting (m/f/d)

As a skilled professional with expertise in the field, you will analyze and implement software changes within the SAP system, acting as a liaison between the IT department and various business units.

YOUR TASKS:

• Evaluating and enhancing SAP processes relevant to accounting
• Providing both technical and functional support and training to users of the system
• Taking charge of the management of master data in the accounting domain
• Designing SAP role concepts and executing them within the context of Segregation of Duties
• Implementing and documenting SOX internal controls
• Assisting the business department in further process automation and digitalization efforts
• Ensuring smooth operations in close collaboration with colleagues globally
• Contributing to the SAP S4/HANA roll-out, especially concerning the master data concept
• Participating in central and global projects, such as process standardization initiatives
• Handling functional SAP system administration tasks

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent commercial education
• Excellent SAP skills, preferably in one of the FI-GL, FI-AA, or FI-AP modules
• Strong interest in IT-related topics
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA is desirable
• Previous work experience in accounting
• Proficiency in both German and English at a conversational level
