Quality Technician Footwear & Materials (m/f/d)

YOUR SHOES TO FILL:

• Analyze and resolve material quality issues during bulk production, ensuring conformity with predefined standards.

• Define and develop quality standards (e.g. master swatches, color windows) for materials, working closely with Design, Global Sourcing, and Product Development teams.

• Oversee and coordinate material tests with both internal and external laboratories to ensure materials meet necessary specifications.

• Participate in production to monitor the quality of series trials and ensure conformity with established standards.

• Lead quality management projects and optimize quality processes, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality outcomes.

• Support Global Sourcing and Production in addressing material deviations found in incoming goods and participate in factory and warehouse inspections.

YOUR WALK OF LIFE:

• Several years of experience in quality management and production within the consumer goods industry, ideally in footwear.

• Completed studies or specialized training in footwear or fashion industries.

• Ability to read and interpret physical laboratory tests. Knowledge of DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and footwear industry standards is a plus.

• Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Self-motivated, solution-oriented, with a dynamic and strategic mindset. Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
