As Manager Sales Planning Own Channel Europe, you will be responsible for supporting all activities associated with managing our sales and inventory plans for our DTC distribution channel (E-Commerce and Retail). You collaborate with the respective channel teams to develop, execute and communicate planning strategies as well as financial plans that support the planning, merchandising and financial objectives for the brand.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the European DtC teams to develop and implement seasonal buying, sales and inventory targets by division / planning group which optimize sales and gross margin
  • Prepare regular reports for cross functional partners in Sales, Merchandising and Finance to provide a detailed overview of business performance
  • Provide highly accurate analysis to support data driven business decisions and identify risks and opportunities in season to provide actionable recommendations 
  • Lead, perform, develop further and consolidate sales plans in close collaboration with Merchandising and ensure on order / future projections align with current retail performance, optimizing sell through potential

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: 

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in Planning and Sales, preferably within the fashion and lifestyle industry
  • E-Commerce and retail affinity, understanding of the respective environment and analytic tools
  • Proven experience leading sales planning projects with outstanding attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills as well as solid retail math skills in addition to open to buy and retail profitability understanding
  • Self-motivated, flexible, able to prioritize multiple deadlines and independent with the ability to be a strong team player 
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills, German language skills are advantageous
