As Manager Sales Planning Wholesale Europe, you will be responsible for supporting all activities associated with managing our sales and inventory plans for our Wholesale channel (strategic accounts and distributors). These activities will provide in-depth analyses to strategically drive the business, increase sales and margin, while optimizing inventory. You collaborate with the respective Sales teams to develop, execute and communicate planning strategies as well as financial plans that support the planning, merchandising and financial objectives for the brand. Manager Sales Planning Wholesale (m/f/d) Europe



  • Partner with the European Sales teams to develop and implement seasonal sales, margin and inventory targets by country/division/planning group/accounts which optimize sales and gross margin
  • Prepare regular reports for cross functional partners in Sales, Merchandising and Finance to provide a detailed overview of business performance
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis upon project needs or requests
  • Leverage analytics to identify risks and opportunities in season and provide actionable recommendations to improve business trend and drive growth
  • Ensure Channel Leads and C-level management are provided highly accurate and deliberate analysis to support data driven business decisions
  • Lead, perform, develop further and consolidate sales plans in close collaboration with the Sales teams and ensure on order/future projections align with current retail performance, optimizing sell through potential
  • Participation as an active member of the dedicated European Sales team including group meetings, sales meetings, etc. 



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a business administration/management field of study
  • Minimum of 5+ years working experience in Planning and Sales, preferably within the apparel/shoe industry
  • High online and retail affinity, understanding of the respective environment and analytic tools
  • Proven experience leading sales planning projects with outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of customer-centric strategies
  • Advanced Excel skills as well as solid retail math skills in addition to open to buy and retail profitability understanding
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and business acumen and excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple deadlines, flexible under changing priorities and business environment
  • Independent with the ability to be a strong team player and collaborate work with remote partners
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills, German language skills are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
