Manager Product Merchandising Europe (m/f/d) 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the responsible Sr. Merchandising Manager (Womens & Kids or Mens & Unisex) and work with your colleagues from Product Merchandising to develop a mid- to long-term assortment strategy for Europe
  • Build close relationships with our global Product Line Management to develop an efficient and profitable collection for the European target customers
  • Drive market research and analysis to stay on top of consumer and product trends to define line planning opportunities for Birkenstock Europe
  • Own assortment plans and segmentation with a focus on a consumer-right price architecture considering Birkenstock`s target consumers and competitive landscape aligned with European strategy and financial targets
  • In partnership with Planning, Finance and Business Development build seasonal plans for pricing, volume and margin
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to define seasonal brand concepts to enhance the consumer experience in the marketplace
  • Be a key player in the Go-to-market process and present assortments to internal and external stakeholders

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: 

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Merchandising with broad-based knowledge in Footwear (Shoes) 
  • Strong skills in assortment planning, retail acumen, marketplace knowledge, consumer knowledge and line planning
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to analyze data and build a narrative around trends and patterns in the data
  • Strong team player and ability to work with cross functional partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills
