Manager (m/f/d) Tax Accounting

YOUR TASKS:

• Advise our domestic and foreign Group companies on the calculation and reporting of current and deferred taxes in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare the necessary Group tax reports and determine the effective Group tax rate.
• Use your expertise to support Group in preparing the disclosures in the notes to the consolidated financial statements.
• Continuously optimize the process for determining current and deferred taxes in accordance with IFRS and implement necessary improvements to the tax reporting tool.
• Drive the implementation of the tax reporting tool abroad forward.
• Ensure the implementation of and compliance with the necessary SOX requirements.
• Be the contact person for interface functions, Group companies, tax reporting tool providers and auditors.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on taxes.
• Strong knowledge of German and international tax law.
• Ideally strong knowledge of international .
• Strong understanding of processes and systems in the area of determining current and deferred taxes in accordance with IFRS; ideally experience in the implementation and further development of common tax reporting tools.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position; ideally in an industrial company.
• Fluent written and spoken English, German is nice-to-have.
• SAP (nice-to-have) and good MS Office skills are required.
• Willingness to occasionally travel internationally.
• Hands-on mentality, interest in the fashion industry and especially in BIRKENSTOCK complete your profile.
