Junior Communications Manager (m/f/d)

Your Shoes to fill:

• Central tasks of the position are the support of Corporate Communications tasks in the areas of Supply Chain, European Business and ESG, with a focus on internal communications globally and in the EU as well as stakeholder management for our seven plants in Germany and Portugal.

• Create and expand corporate communication activities targeting internal and external stakeholders, producing engaging written and visual content for various mediums.

• Manage, update, and create content for the Birkenstock Corporate Communications website and other digital channels.

• Assist in media training and prepare designated spokespeople for media interactions, promptly responding to inquiries and coordinating materials for external communication.

• Contribute to the development of communication strategies, participating in projects for internal and external communication or marketing initiatives.

• Monitor, track, and analyze communication results to inform decision-making processes and optimize communication strategies.

• Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, leveraging creativity and communication skills to deliver targeted communications on time and within established protocols.

• Demonstrate a strong affinity for Supply Chain and Production topics, along with a keen eye for details and aesthetics, aligning communication efforts with brand values.

• Stay abreast of current events in politics and business, suggesting relevant topics and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

your Profil:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations (PR), or journalistic roles.

• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and proficiency in digital media.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, with experience in creating visually appealing presentations.

• Hands-on mentality, resilience, and ability to manage pressure effectively.

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks independently and maintain composure under tight deadlines.

• Excitement about brands with a strong heritage and affinity for the fashion/lifestyle world.

• Willingness to travel.
