IT License Manager (m/f/d)

YOUR SHOES TO FILL:

• Manage and regularly monitor the license portfolio, identifying licenses approaching expiration and proposing optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance in software licensing, creating license balances and conducting qualified cost analyses.
• Generate workflows from release to inventory maintenance, ensuring efficient management of software licenses.
• Stay updated on market developments related to licensing models, incorporating industry best practices.
• Document and manage license agreements and inventories, supporting procurement of new software products.
• Assist in external audits and conduct internal license audits to guarantee adherence to licensing agreements.
• Support in monitoring the IT budget, specifically focusing on license-related expenditures.

YOUR WALK OF LIFE:

• Hold a degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• Possess several years of professional experience in license management, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry practices.
• Preferably have experience with license metrics of major software manufacturers like Microsoft  or SAP.
• Expertise in conducting license audits.
• Good written and spoken German and English.
• Expertise in the use of license management tools
