Junior Merchandising Manager Southeast Asia & Down Under (m/f/d) 

 

YOUR TASKS

 

  • Support the Merchandising Manager in elevating the brand, executing strategic initiatives and operational tasks to deliver a product offer that exceeds customers expectations and achieves sales and profit targets in Southeast Asia and Down Under region
  • Support the transformation of current merchandising to a best-in-class business function
  • Strategy Support (Support Merchandising Strategy, Go-to-Market Strategy and Regional Sales Conference (2x per Year))
  • Assortment Planning (Product Briefing; Product Line and Assortment Planning; Seasonal Forecasting; Seasonal Buying Support (Retail); In Season Management; Product Planning (Segmentation); Channel Planning (Segmentation); Lifecycle & Obsolesce Planning; Promotion Planning; SMU Management)
  • Data x Analytics (Demand |Sell-In & Sell-Out; Pricing & Margin; Merchandise Insights (e.g. SKU efficiency); Doors & Locations (Segmentation); Inventory)
  • Business Process Management (Document AS-IS Business Processes; Evaluate Design and Effectiveness of current Operating Business Processes; Support all re-designs and updates of business processes that reflect industry best practices (Blueprinting, testing, masterdata); Automate Business Reporting; Build comprehensive business process training deck for various stakeholders; Build Internal Audit program & Conduct Internal Audits documenting risks; Establish a formal „best-in-class“ SLA to various internal & external stakeholders)
  • Ad Hoc Management Requests
  • Be the contact for distribution Partners in SEA & DWNUDR and collaborate with Regional Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and BI & Analytics as well as relevant HQ departments

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in business or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in Merchandising & Planning
  • Full professional proficiency in English, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Understanding of consumer, trends, competitors and marketplace landscape
  • Willing to manage complexity of multiple countries and multiple business models
  • Excellent stakeholder management (internal & external), enjoy working in a mulitnational environment
  • Adaptability to pivot/adjust to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, hands on, proactive, passionate, good team player
  • Willing to travel (Europe & Asia)
