YOUR TASKS:
- Strategy Support: You assist in executing the merchandising and go-to-market strategies, coordinating sales conferences, and aligning with calendar and business cycles.
- Assortment Planning: You contribute to assortment planning, product line management, seasonal forecasting, buying support, and lifecycle planning, with a focus on trend and channel segmentation.
- Data and Analytics: You analyze demand, pricing, margins, inventory metrics, and SKU efficiency, providing valuable insights on product performance across regions.
- Inventory Management: You manage inventory data, focusing on pricing, ageing, seasonality, and SKU distribution.
- Business Process Management: You document, assess, and improve business processes, including automation of reporting, and conduct internal audits to manage risk and support strategic decision-making.
- Training and Support: You develop training materials and establish best-in-class SLAs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ad Hoc Management: You respond promptly to special requests and strategic needs as directed by management.
YOUR COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in business or related field
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in Merchandising & Planning
- Full professional proficiency in English, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Excellent MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Understanding of consumer, trends, competitors and marketplace landscape
- Willing to manage complexity of multiple countries and multiple business models
- Excellent stakeholder management (internal & external), enjoy working in a mulitnational environment
- Adaptability to pivot/adjust to changing requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, hands on, proactive, passionate, good team player
- Willing to travel (Europe & Asia)
