Footwear Technician & Quality Manager (m/f/d)

YOUR SHOES TO FILL:

• As a Footwear Technician, you will work closely with manufacturers and other footwear suppliers to ensure that developed products meet the quality standards of the Birkenstock brand.
• You will collaborate closely with suppliers on a daily basis to ensure seamless operational processes.
• You are responsible for managing mass productions and proactively address difficulties during each development phase by anticipating production issues during the engineering processes and offering technical solutions.
• You ensure that the final product adheres to all quality requirements set by Birkenstock.
• Last but not least, you are responsible for completing AQL reports to maintain project alignment.

YOUR WALK OF LIFE:

• Degree / training in footwear production / technician
• Possess strong knowledge of materials and footwear quality, cutting processes, assembly techniques, finishing techniques and manufacturing technology.
• Confident handling of MS Office.
• Fluent in English.
• Problem-solving oriented with a high level of adaptability and strong communication skills.
• Capable of building strong work relationships with different interfaces.
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis to suppliers and abroad if required.
