E-Commerce Manager (m/f/d) Japan


  • Maximize E-comm revenue by developing and implementing initiatives and action plans with clear business objectives
  • Drive the web store GTM plan and roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional departments to ensure excellence in all activities and outcomes
  • Identify, propose and lead E-comm and omnichannel innovation and integration opportunities to drive revenue and deliver exceptional customer experience across all touch points
  • Build, develop and maintain reports with relevant KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, such on local initiatives to maximize synergies and improve brand loyalty
  • Further develop and manage performance channels to maximize business and revenue objectives
  • Innovate and drive new data-driven digital marketing methods to stay ahead of the competition
  • Drive membership, marketing automation and O2O in creating a digitally integrated retail experience
  • Assist in the development and implementation of online and offline digital strategies and integrations
  • Identify opportunities to further drive and improve operations, customer service, and back office operations
  • Develop new lines of business through innovation, e.g., subscriptions, lifestyle, gamification, app, website roadmap, etc.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives
  • Project responsibility from proposal to implementation, collaborating with cross-functional areas, external partners and vendors



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications or comparable professional experience is required
  • More than 5 years of experience in online / digital marketing
  • At least 3 years of performance / E-commerce marketing experience
  • Knowledge in the footwear or fashion industry preferred
  • Practical experience in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Direct to Consumer Business, Website Structure, Project Management
  • Japanese native  level and fluent English is mandatory
  • Experience in web development and/or website project management is a must
  • Knowledge on CMS, PIM, OMS, WMS, and Demandware is a plus
  • Familiar with MS office products, and other cloud based applications
  • Exceptional time management, self-driven personality with analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
