Account Manager (m/f/d) Sweden 



  • You are responsible for developing and successfully executing a strategic business plan to deliver the sales and royalty budget in each assigned business partner relationship.
  • By creating a premium and selective distribution network, you expand the business to all BIRKENSTOCK categories and identify new business opportunities. 
  • Representing our corporation in Sweden is your top priority. For that, you work closely with the sales team in Denmark as well as with the product and sales teams in the domestic and international division to determine the appropriate product assortments, present collections and collect orders.
  • Moreover, you are responsible for monitoring the local sell-in, sell-through and inventory levels as well as for providing forecasts.
  • You achieve budgeted sales in your territory, develop the seasonal merchandise assortment plan in conjunction with the European product team and are furthermore responsible for the introduction of new product lines, pricing, and merchandise plan strategies.
  • As an ambassador of our brand, you educate and train store owners, distributors as well as licensees and work closely with the management to create and implement the best marketing plan for each client.
  • Last but not least, you execute in-house sales and off-site meetings for new and existing business partners, are responsible for the setup and breakdown at Swedish trade shows and maintain trade show appointments as well as presentations for the team.



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing accounts in the Swedish footwear industry
  • Excellent understanding of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; SAP knowledge is beneficial
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, well organised and with good time management
  • Strategic, results-driven and with commercial business acumen
  • Proven track record in account acquisition
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in English and Swedish, Danish and German are a plus
  • Willingness to travel
