Online Merchandise Manager (m/f/d) 




  • You take charge of our customer journey, ensuring that every customer finds the right products in campaigns, product sorting and recommendations.
  • Together with various departments like UX, Operations, Merchandise and Content you consistently analyze our product placements and overall guidance of the customer along the customer journey.
  • You are data driven and keep your ear on the ground. You know about every current trend, analyze customer behavior, are aware if the relevant KPIs are met and derive measures to optimize the customer experience.
  • Your number’s game is top-notch just like your expertise in working with Google data studio and GA or Tableau.
  • You work closely with a variety of teams from different departments in different regions, collaborating to take Birkenstock even further!  



  • University degree in marketing / economics or a comparable training
  • Multiple years of working experience in online marketing, merchandise or webshop management in an international e-commerce company (in a fashion or lifestyle context is an advantage)
  • Seasoned in the management of marketing tools (Google suite), website design, setting up online content or onsite product placement 
  • Fit in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; SAP is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of industry relevant KPIs as well as expertise in Google Data Studio, QlikView, GA or Tableau
  • Know-how of CMS- or shop management-systems (SFCC / Demandware) preferable
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to see the big picture 
  • Fluent in German and English both spoken and written
