Junior Product Developer (m/f/d) Women/Kids

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • We are looking for a demanding and quality-obsessed product developer, who will act as a reality checker, consultant and sparring partner for the product line management.
  • You develop concepts for products in the women & kids segment with special focus on technical feasibility, quality, cost efficiency and consumer appeal.
  • In detail, you manage the prototyping and sampling process, as well as drive and monitor the technical process.
  • In close aligment with material development, procurement, engineering and the innovation team, you thrive for innovation, implement feasible concepts and push interfaces for new working processes.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND:

  • Degree or apprenticeship in manufacturing/fabrication/production and/or design – ideally in fashion and/or shoes
  • Relevant working experience in shoe production, development or design
  • Capable to read & correct 2D/3D-models as well as design-briefings
  • Specialised knowledge in mold and sole design/construction, orthopaedics, biomechanics
  • Skilled project manager with a high level of pragmatism, passion for detail and very good communication and networking abilities
  • Fluent in German and English
